Character: Taelani Elmwood
Race: Night Elf
Class: Priestess of the Moon
Location: Temple of the Moon
Description:
Taelani
is a little over seven thousand years old, and has been a priestess for almost that long. While the War of the Ancients had long been over at the time from her birth, she did serve in the War of the Shifting Sands, and the campaign against the invaders of Ashenvale in the Third War (both the Horde and the demons). After the Third War, she stayed in Ashenvale, working to drive the Horde out of Warsong Gulch all through the Outland campaign and the initial part of the Northrend War. After the Wrathgate incident, however, she had been called to go to Northrend to help tend to the injured and fight back the Scourge. She served in the Dragonblight for the remainder of the war, initially at Star's Rest, and later at Wintergarde. After hearing of the Broken Front, she began fostering a serious dislike of the Horde. Now, after the Shattering, with Garrosh's forces attacking Ashenvale from the South, she's quite eager to bring Elune's justice to them.
Taelani sat near the great statue of Haidene, meditating and making an effort to commune with Elune. As impatient as she was to get back to the task of driving the Horde out of her people's land, she wanted to receive Elune's blessing first. She always did this, before she went on any mission. It was partly tradition, and partly out of respect to the Goddess. If Elune found her mission to be righteous, she could not lose, and it was important to make sure that the Goddess supported her task.

"Excuse me," Taelani spoke up, opening her eyes. Her expression was polite, but to the trained eye undertones of subtle impatience and irritation might be seen. "Please," she finished, nodding with her head at the feet of the druid before her.

Taelani closed her eyes and returned to her meditation. She needed to be out there, defending the Night Elf lands. But she had to get Elune's blessing first, and she wasn't happy to have her meditation interrupted.

Character:
Blaine Jeret
Location: Howling Oak, Darnassus
Race: Gilnean Worgen
Class: Rogue
Description:
A Gilnean noble, Blaine - along with his now-exiled brother and sister - has always worked hard to ensure the best for his fellow countrymen. Now that Gilneas is once again a part of the Alliance, his good work extends out to all of its members. Having been a stratagist during the early portion of the campaign against the Forsaken, Blaine has now come forward to aid his people and their new allies in this dire conflict.
Blaine paced back and forth thoughout the oak, still not used to the weight of the armor he wore but trying to get used to it. The Horde would attack at any time now and his people were without hope. He was without hope. Gilneas was lost, what more did they have to fight for?
But he struggled against his despair. There was always hope. There always had to be hope! Maybe a desicive victory against the Horde here would give them not only the moral boost they so desperately needed, but also a stratigic advantage with which they could retake Gilneas... or whatever remained of it.
He sighed and headed for the Temple of the Moon. He was one of the few Gilneans who had started to study the night elven teaching, and he felt he was the wiser for it. Maybe there he could find some solace until the coming battle began.
After a good deal of walking, he reached and entered the Temple.
(( I'll link an image of Blaine in armor in my next post. And do we only have one Horde character? ))

Taelani sighed, shaking her head and getting to her feet. There was no way she'd be able to commune with the Goddess under these conditions. She'd just have to wait until the intruders cleared out, and she had no idea how long that would take.

Character: Khaz Stumpfoot
Location: Teldrassil
Description:
Khaz Stumpfoot was originally one of the mercenary group known as Stormcross. He was infected by the Old God N'zoth and fell into a coma. An essence of him broke away, and using the Old God's blessing, formed into a perfect copy of Khaz. Tall for a dwarf, he has a brown beard, left wild and brown hair he keeps cropped short.
He also has copied Khaz's personality and vocabulary. However, being formed of Old God flesh, he can transform into many things, heal grievous wounds and generally do whatever he pleases with his flesh. He prefers to use shadow magic, combined with corrupted life magic. He wields a rifle that shoots cursed bullets, and a sword runed with cursed sigils. He also keeps several knives and two more swords on him that he wields when he uses the tentacles that grow from his back, which he keeps concealed under a long coat.
He leads a cult of N'zoth, mainly focused around the Night Elven lands, although he also has agents in the Tirisfal Glades and in the land of Alterac, among others.
Khaz sat back in his chair as a messenger cowered in front of him. "So... tell me again," he said, inspecting the nails on his right hand. "The Horde is on it's way to attack Darnassus?" The messenger nodded hurriedly, and Khaz's eyebrows knit together. "Cursed things!" he snarled.
Several tentacles shot from under his coat and grabbed the unfortunate messenger, a gnome, and lifted it into the air. He strangled it until the gnome was barely conscious, then snapped his neck and tossed him aside. "They'll ruin my plans!" he said angrily. "Years of preparation! Unless..."
A smile broke out over his face.

"Perhaps... perhaps we'll teach the Horde a lesson..." Khaz murmured, a grin breaking over his face. Reach down, he pierced the gnome's body with his knife, and started drawing a circle on the ground in blood.

Chanting quietly, Khaz raised a hand, and flesh started to seep from the floor. "Go," he told it. "Find the Horde, find a leader, and slay it."
The flesh quivered in response, and slithered out. Khaz took his rifle and loaded it, motioning for five cultists to join him. "Let's go," he said, and they slipped out.

The rope of flesh slithered through a portal conjured for it, and entered the Horde's offensive. Several docks and buildings were in flames, but the rope paid them no heed, heading straight for what appeared to be a mage wielding a sword.
Great... magic...
it hissed,
Means... great... leader?
Khaz and his five cultists exited their hideout bored into the wood of Teldrassil on the south west side near the Gnarlpine Hold. "We need to halt the Horde offensive and push them back if we are to take this tree for our purposes," he told the other five, two casters, an archer and two armsmen. "But if any Alliance get in our way, kill them."
