This is one of the buildings that will be introduced with the Garrison in Warlords of Draenor expansion pack. This is the final level of this building.

This will very useful for all players, and has the following abilities for each level:
Level 1: Enables new Logistics missions, and increases the storage of daily batches or shipments on every other Garrison building by 1.
Level 2: Enables access to your personal bank, and increases the storage of daily batches or shipments on every other Garrison building by 2.
Level 3: Unlocks Specializations, and increases the storage of daily batches or shipments on every other Garrison building by 3.
This can only be placed on a small lot.

Other buildings that can be placed on a small lot include:
Enchanter's Study Level 1
Engineering Works Level 1
Gem Boutique Level 1
Salvage Yard Level 1
Scribe's Quarters Level 1
Alchemy Lab Level 1
Tailoring Emporium Level 1
The Forge Level 3
The Tannery Level 1

As of now this looks to be the one building every garrison should have, Granted We probably have not seen all the small buildings, but there seems to be more small plots than players even need at the moment and the Storehouse universally increases the storage capacity of all garrison buildings, so nothing but benefits for all.

The Level 3 Storehouse is rewarded by completing Got My Mind On My Draenor Money. This achievement is account-wide so gold looted by all characters count towards this.

This building seems to be very powerful!

It increased work orders 15 for all buildings, as nearly all of the buildings can do only up to 21 work orders at one time, this basically almost double the production capacity of all buildings in your garrison.

Not to mention the access to bank. This combined with Trading Post (which grants Auction access) will make your garrison into mini-city!

so, the +15 work orders stack w/ the 5 from level 1 or are 15 total?

Edit: I just want to preface this by saying this is an old post from EARLY WoD, so please don't downvote a now 3 expansions old comment, thanks :) It's actually a pretty decent building to pick if you're still doing Garrison stuff.

The Storehouse is the worst small plot building IMO. The Bank, Guild Bank, Void Storage, and Transmog is completely nullified when you have a portal to Ashran from your Garrison (and they have all of that stuff, and then some).

The extra work order capacity also doesn't help unless you don't login at least once every ~2+* days, so unless you're going on vacation or playing WoW exceedingly casually to the point where you can't login once a day for just 5 minutes, this building is practically worthless to you. The only other exception would be alts you rarely login to but still want to try and cash in on their work orders, but having a third profession plot (or a Salvage Yard/second plot) instead would be infinitely more useful.

* Depends on the level of your Work Order buildings as at level 3, they can do just over 3 days worth without you interacting with them once

Edit: 2 patches later, I'm now using it because I'm lazy and bored of WoD. I've pretty much stopped bothering with work orders, so yeah, take my original comment above with a grain of salt. That was the super min-maxer me from 2 patches ago, now this is the burned out "WoD sucks" me.

Replaced my level 2 Storehouse with a Salvage Yard and my active work orders kept the +5 bonus from my bulldozed Storehouse.

just cause i have a portal to ashran doesn't mean this is useless :)

when you play multiple alts dont want to waste time running to ashran for things like tokens or upgrade things or what not. cause you have to get back to base,

so yeah, it has its uses and can be convenient.

Alliance players may want to avoid upgrading all the way to level three because it becomes rather cramped with all the NPC's, who are usually standing on top of each other. Perhaps stop at level two and use your portal to Ashran if you need to transmog.

Function: All things banking, also transmogs.
Appearance: Cluttered stacks of garrison supply crates.

I hate to criticize the mostly beautiful design of the alliance garrison, but the 3 NPCs occupying this plain, cramped space are at all times either threatening to stand inside each other, or making good on that threat.
