This actually seems easy enough with the teams I already use for the mini-Celestials. Well, except Yu'la, I usually go through three pets with her.

But with the Zao "Lightning Storm, Fel Flame, Swap, Black Claw, Hunting Party" strategy, the Xuen "Missle, Decoy, Missle, Missle, Explode, Tonk, attack until below 550 HP, Ion Cannon" strategy, and the Chi-Chi "Geyser, Whirlpool, Chrominius, Howl, Surge of Power" strategy, seems like it'd be fairly simple to get this achievement...unless it requires the Elekk pet to actually have a turn in the battle.

A possible way to get this achievement:

Chi-Chi, Hatchling of Chi-Ji

Use 2 snails:
Pass/Acidic Goo/Dive/Dive(part 2)/Ooze Touch/Acidic Goo/Swap to 2nd Snail/Ooze Touch/Ooze Touch

Alternatively, use the Chrominius/Pandaren Water Spirit nuke strategy:
Geyser/Whirlpool/Swap to Chrominius/Howl/Surge of Power

Xu-Fu, Cub of Xuen

Sunreaver Micro-Sentry/Darkmoon Zeppelin

Extra Plating/Call Lightning/Laser until dead
then
Missile/Decoy when there is 1 round remaining on Xu-Fu's Feed/ Missile/Explode to finish him.

or, possibly more reliable:
Darkmoon Zeppelin/Darkmoon Tonk

Missile/Decoy/Missile/Missile/Explode. Dead Zeppelin/Shock and Awe/Missile/Ion Cannon to finish Xu-Fu when he has 530 health or less.

Yu'la, Broodling of Yu'lon

Yu-la can most of the time be solo-ed by Bonkers or Clock'em.
Just get a speedy (breed #5: S/S or #8: P/S or #9: H/S) Bonkers to hit first, and dodge her Lift-Off.
Same deal with Clock'em, if you get unlucky and need a second pet:
With Bonkers:
Tornado Punch on cooldown/Jab the rest of the time and Dodge When Yu'La lifts off.
With Clock'em:
Spam Jab and Dodge When Yu'La lifts off.

Zao, Calfling of Niuzao

Skywisp Moth/Cogblade Raptor

Reckless Strike/Cocoon Strike/Call Lightning
switch
Exposed Wounds/Batter to victory.

The way I read it, this does not have to be done in a single instance and the plushie does not need to participate in the fight. We'll see if that's true.

Since you have about 20 weeks before WoD goes live, there is a LOT of time to practice :(

Chen will send his last pet, Brewly, again with a clear attack pattern. Inebriate>Barrel (fill)>Storm Bolt>Barrel (throw)>Storm Bolt and repeat.

5. Crush until either pet is dead, Deflection to block Barrel (throw).
Send out Chi-Chi

Wrathion

The pets I used:

When Cindy returns to life use Burrow
Wrathion will send out Alex, its pattern is Ancient Blessing>Flamethrower>Breath>Breath and repeat.

Send out your Flayer Youngling.
Depending on the attack Alex is going to use:
Deflection if its Flamethrower
Blitz if its Ancient Blessing

3. Breath until dead, use Thunderbolt whenever Spirus uses Soul Ward.
Mari will send out River, switch back to Idol

3. Crush until either is dead, Sandstorm on CD and Deflection when River rise with Dive.
If Idol dies Dragonling sould use Decoy and Breath.

Shademaster Kiryn

2. Stoneskin should be up at all time!

The pets I used:

Here's are links to my comments on how to two-pet the six new Draenor tamers while having Elekk Plushie in your team:

Ashlei (Shadowmoon Valley)
Cymre Brightblade (Gorgrond)
Gargra (Frostfire Ridge)
Taralune (Talador)
Tarr the Terrible (Nagrand)
Vesharr (Spires of Arak)

Note: The elekk can just hang around in your team, you don't actually have to use it unlike a lowbie pet which needs to battle a round in order to gain XP. However, most of my tacts involve some soaking from the elekk/lowbie so this doesn't concern these tactics that much. You can shave off a round or two from Ashlei and Vesharr though.

Few comments/notes:

None of my tactics require some super-rare pet (like Blizz Store or TCG pets); some battles require certain pet breed though but that's it.
Most of the teams work if you are carrying a lowbie pet for leveling purposes, all except Cymre as she is the hardest of the tamers to two-pet.
I tried to minimize the RNG-factor in the fights, but Lady Luck can sometimes still mess your plans - especially against Vesharr.
My tactics might not be the most fastest or optimized ones, but they do their job nevertheless.
I couldn't post the tactics directly to this achievement page because of the comment character limit.
Most importantly, I am keeping the comments to up to date with beta builds to make sure they are working. I might not check them on every build, but I will test them weekly.

This is for the Christoph Von Feasel fight at Darkmoon Faire.

So I finally killed his pets with only 2 pets.

1. PWD: Personal World Destroyer with Metal Fist, Repair, Quakey
2. AFK: Arctic Fox Kit with Flurry, Howl, Dazzling Dance

Start with PWD: Quake (it goes for 3 rounds), then Repair, Quake again.
PWD should still be alive.

Swap to AFK: Dazzling Dance, Flurry (breaks Bubble), Flurry, Flurry.
Syd should die, then Mr Pointy comes in.

AFK can Howl. Mr Pointy should then kill AFK.

PWD can use Metal Fist to kill both Mr Pointy and Otto.
It just depends on whether Otto's 1st hit against PWD kills PWD. If not, you win.

The Elekk Plushie is dead weight on your team, as its abilities deal no damage. The Elekk can be obtained trough tailoring: Pattern: Elekk Plushie

Abilities:
Rawr!: Imagine yourself as a real elekk and the damage you could inflict if that were actually true.
Nap Time: Take a short nap.
Plushie Rush: Pretend to rush at the enemy with great ferocity!
Cute As A Button: Look cute.
Who's The Best Elekk In The Whole World?: Relish in your dominance as the greatest stuffed animal ever.
Itchin' for a Stitchin': Bring your plushie in for a hug.

There are two achievements for using an Elekk Plushie: An Awfully Big Adventure and Overstuffed.

With topazg guide above for Celestials they were a walk in the park.
I found Major Payne to be the hardest Tamer to beat.

Thought I would repost MustaCWN's strat here as it was the only one I could get to work.

1) Lil' Bling Inflation Extra Plating Make it Rain
2) Elekk Plushie
3) Toothy Rip Surge Blood in the Water

Grizzle
Start with Lil'Bling using Extra Plating followed by Make it Rain (pass the stun round if needed) and go Inflation.
The fight usually ends with Bling (at about half health) casting a 2nd Make it Rain during the 2nd round of Hibernate.

Beakmaster
Re-cast Extra Plating followed by Inflation. Now Make it Rain is off CD. You can either use it or go for another round of Inflation If Bling is not stunned during the fight he will probably die in the same round as Beakmaster

Bloom
Toothy's turn. Open with Rip followed by Blood in the Water and then just Surge till Bloom is dead.

This achievement involves beating all the Grand Master Trainers with an Elekk Plushie on your team, and will take more than a day to do with the way the Celestial Tournament works it rotates to different NPCs every week.

This achievement involves beating all Pet Trainers in Cataclysm zones, Pandaria including the Celestial Pet Tournament trainers, all Pet Trainers in Draenor (Minus the Scrappin' Daily at your Garrison), as well as Stone Cold Trixxy in Winterspring, Lydia Accoste in Deadwind Pass, Bloodknight Antari in Shadowmoon Valley (Outland), Master Payne in Icecrown (Argent Tournament Grounds, Northrend), as well as Jeremy Feasel and Christoph VonFeasel at Darkmoon Faire.

Your Elekk Plushie does not need to be alive at the end of the battle for you to get credit for this achievement. It just needs to be in your party. So don't fear using it as a damage sponge; even if it dies, you still have a chance.

I'm going to cut right to the meat and focus on the trainers who are designed specifically so you cannot two-pet them: The Tournament Trainers.

This Week:

1. Lorewalker Cho

Nexus Whelpling and Arctic Fox Kit.

I started with the Plushie, allowing the Owl to rip it and add wild magic to injury. Only then did I bring out my beloved Skyfall, my Nexus Whelpling. There is no need to put out arcane winds. Simply mana surge. You have to get just a bit lucky and kill the owl in two hits, but this will happen more often than not.

The Broom got howled and flurried down by my fox. I had enough health to give one howl to the dragon, and one flurry. The fox will not be hit at this point. You must swap now, because the dragon is about to use his two big attacks (which are cooldowns). Allow your Plushie to take them both. Then switch back to foxie, howl and flurry while the dragon recovers.

2. Dr. Ion Goldbloom

This is a complicated dance involving a health-breed Iron Star and a speedy Silver Dragonhawk.

Start with Iron Star. Wind up. Don't do anything else. Switch to Plushie, who takes the fly. Then switch to your Dragonhawk, who is going to be burning him, then conflagrating him. This should be enough for the Pterodactyl to feign death and go away (for now). The Direhorn is coming out, so switch to your Star. Do this on the Feign Death if you can, since if you anticipate, you get a free switch.

Now supercharge and cast wind up again. The Direhorn is now dead. You're welcome. You should also be able to kill the Pterodactyl. Now the orb comes out and you need a swap, but you can't afford one. So swap in your Plushie and pass until it dies. Then bring in your Dragonhawk for a burn and conflagrate as the weird chaos orby thingy hopefully gives you a turn to do so by casting amplify magic. Now your Dragonhawk is dead, but your Star should be able to finish that orb because it still has a fair amount of health (and its resurrection) remaining.

3. A Picked Dwarf named Sully

I used my trusty Arctic Fox Kit once again, and supplemented him with my power-breed Azure Crane Chick.

Start with your Fox. Make use of howl and flurry. The roadkill raccoon takes its free attacks, and you will be using this time to Dazzling Dance. Even through the free hits, you should be alive to howl at that rabbit. This will allow your crane to dispatch it with quills.

Now here's the kwikee mart. As the last pokemon shows itself, your poor crane is so full of debuffs that she'll never survive, even though she is severely strong against this otter. You will use one turn and heal your crane with healing stream while the otter uses its cute face. Do nothing else. Switch to your Plushie and allow the otter to kill it. Crane comes back out, debuff-free, and kills the otter.

Week Three:

Blingtron

Use Tiny White Carp and Emerald Proto Whelp

We're getting the most painful out of the way first. Start with your Carp using water jet, healing wave, and dive. First step: Squirt. Then dive. Then heal. Then squirt some more. You should have now killed the gold elemental with plenty of health left on your carp.

Now, do what you can to the pig. Because he heals, it won't be that much, but this is alright. Time for your prot whelp to step forward. He will be using breath, emerald presence, and dream. By shielding and breathing on the pig for a bit, you should be able to kill it. Heal if you have to. When blingy comes out, you can outheal him with your shield up, but this is tight. Don't get greedy. Heal when dream is off cooldown (make sure to shield first if rounds remaining is three or less). Wait him out. Breathe on him. Keep your shield up at all times. He doesn't heal unless Present misses. You will win, just be careful and be mindful of the fact that Present does a ton of damage.

Fishyface

Use Imperial Eagle Chick and a trusty Alpine Foxling for this one.

First, use your Eagle (thrash, adrenaline rush, and fly) to beat the carp out of that crap. Fly over one of the iterations of dreadful breath. You can also use an Azure Crane as long as he has at least some points in speed. I happen to have hoarded three pure-power ones, so my run with this guy was a no-go.

When the wisp comes out, do not expose your bird to any of that deadly magic. Switch to your Fox immediately (who will be using flurry, howl, and dazzling dance) and howl. Two flurries bypasses the soul ward and puts the wisp at dead or almost dead. After you've killed it, flurry the next pokemon once, then howl at it just before you die. When your bird comes back out, you will be able to murder that thing with your double-damage bonus. Fly over the big attacks, and you're done.

Kiryn

You will be able to do this using an Unborn Val'kyr and a Terrible Turnip but only if you execute this perfectly.

First, use your Valkyrie. Curse of doom, shadow shock twice, then haunt. Now switch to your plushie, who will wait for Hodor to die. Before your plushie dies, he will. Now it's turnip time. Leech seed. Now use tidal wave as much as you can, which will get rid of the turrets as well. Before you die, go underground with sons of the root. This should dispose of that mechanical menace fairly easily.

Switch to plushie for the dog, who must slay your plushie with his big, prowled attack. Turnip must have a sliver left.

Now that your Valkyrie is alive (meh) again, use her. Curse of doom immediately. If the dog slew your plushie with his prowled attack, this means it will hit. This is an exceptionally narrow window. Now shadow shock until your cheaty undead turns win you this fight, and since turnip has a sliver left, you win.

For the Darkmoon Feasel 'brothers';

Jeremy:
Soul of the Aspects: Breath / Sunlight / Solar Beam, assuring you have the Dragonkin passive (+50% dmg), Sunlight up and about 500 health left when he brings in his second pet, you can easily take it down with one Solar Beam.

Use any mechanical pet to finish off the monkey.

Christoph:
I'm still working on a more widely usable tactic, as I'm sure there are less than a few pet battlers who have both the Lil' Deathwing and Rocket Chicken I used to beat him. Will edit soon.

Breath, emerald presence, life exchange
Pandaren Water spirit with the usual:
Geyser, Whirlpool, and water jet
And of course the stuffed animal. FINALLY got the right combo after what seems like forever. Use yu'la against the pig, the shield helps A LOT.

Similiar tactic to one described above but with an Unborn Val'kyr in it's place.

I've successfully 2 Pet this for An Awfully Big Adventure with this team. Nairn should die in the backline to the dots after being stunned in round 3 and switching out.

Round 7+: Snowball until Stormoen dies
Next Round: Call Blizzard (Will probably be blocked)
Tiny Snowman will probably die shortly after this, at which point you swap back to Unborn Valk'yr and keep hitting it with Shadow Slash. Even if your Val'kyr dies (It's undead), it has that extra time to finish the pet off leaving your Elekk still up.

The achievement is having the Elekk on your team.

It doesn't have to participate or use any abilities to get credit.
It can die during the fight and still gets credit (the Elekk can soak big abilities).

Okay all. I am not sure if anyone gave this information yet but just in case no one did.

I just needed lore walker cho and dr Goldbloom.

I logged on my hunter and started weekly quest. All 3 pet tamers I already got so I killed each one. Then logged onto my mage.

Bam: Lore Walker cho and Dr Goldbloom popped up.

I dont know if beating them with my hunter did anything. What I can say is when I tried the swop with-out killing any tamer it never worked. I killed them and they did change.

Well if you didn't know this I hope it helped.

Cymre Brightblade: Very hard. I used Anubisath Idol. 1-1-1. Mechanical Pandarian Dragonling 1-2-2

Start with Defectlion then Sandstorm.
Use Crush until Deflection is up, use it again.
Sandstorm when available, crush until Dark Rebirth.
After Dark Rebirth, use Deflection to stop rot. (Will happen 1 turn after it becomes available)
Crush until Idol of Decay is dead.

Keep Idol out for new pet.
Use deflection on first round to block Sunny Day.
Use Sandstorm to get rid of Sunny Day.
Switch to Dragonling.
Decoy
Thunderbolt
Breath
Breath (he'll probably get Wish off)
Thunderbolt
Breath (Lantern dies)

New Pet: - this is where RNG comes in...

Basically, keep decoy up as much as possible, thunderbolt when it is up, breath when it isn't.

With luck, decoy will stop his rockets. It did for me.

Didn't have a S/S flayer youngling for Wrathion, alternatively you can use a S/S Qiraji Guardling if you have one.

Red Cricket begins for Cindy, swarm > skitter > heal. Swarm on Alex until death, send Guardling, crush until Alex dies. My Guardling had ~500 hp at this point from a lack of crits on Alex. Crush on Dah'da until the bolt is about to hit, switch to let your Elekk soak damage until it dies. When your Guardling is forced in use blackout kick > crush until dead.

Blingtron Strategy:

Because I don't go out of my way to find inane breeds of pets, I didn't have any of the ones mentioned in ANY guides on Blingtron. I do however have an extensive collection, and in it I have Xu-Fu and Phoenix Hatchling. These rare pets might be a pain to acquire, but I finally took Blingtron out with them. Here's what I did:

Note: This strategy relies on RNG, considering Spirit Claws has a 80% accuracy. I personally found it preferable than going through the hell of raising more pets.

Xu-Fu: 1, 1, 2
Phoenix Hatchling: 1, 2, 2
Elekk Plushie Make sure "Itchin' for a Stitchin'" is on your bar.

This may not be relevent here but anyone needing to level up some pets for this achievment can kill a couple of birds (or Fruit Hunters) at one time with with an alt that you are also looking to level. I have a Frost Mage who has barely set foot in Draenor that I leveled from 90 to 100 by simply training a couple dozen pets in Pandaria. By making a daily circuit though every province of Pandaria and battling every Beast of Fable and all elite Pet trainers (the dailies are available at your base in the Vale), you generally can raise your alt one-half of a full level per day. This also results in numerous additional pet pandas (Mountain, Sunfur, etc.) and occasionally an elemental pet also drops (Water, Fire, Air, Earth) that can be kept or used for sale or trade and usually one or two rare battle stones per circuit for various creatures. It is is bit tedious, and assuming you have teams capable of defeating the elite trainers with one or two base pets, it's a relatively painless way to level both pets (including Plushie) and your alt. I generally start in the Vale at Mistfall Inn--behind the inn are various acquatic pets that respawn quickly, even if other players are also leveling their own pets) with two rare level 1 pets. Easing the newbie pets into the first couple of rounds with a Nether Faerie Dragon shredding the enemy pets, it is fairly quick to level both carry pets simultaneously--although getting past level 1 can take a couple tries if rng is not with you. At level 15, I take both carries to Aki located on the terrace just south of the Inn and with Anusubath Idol I can usually have him solo Aki's pets working in both carry pets in the first couple of rounds since the grasshopper does little damage. Keep sandstorm up and dodge when appropriate. The idol may fizzle toward the end but your carry pets should be able to finish off whoever is left.

From there you can usually carry one of the two pets for each of the Elite Trainers, again assuming you have appropriate frontline pets to deal with the enemy teams (the Idol gets a workout, so he is almost a necessity to complete the entire circuit). There may be other exceptions but the Idol can also solo Yon the Courageous with ease so you can level up two carry pets there, as well. Any order of provinces should work but I find starting in the Vale and then heading to the Valley of 4 Winds and on south to Krasang Wilds and south coast and then counter-clockwise from there is pretty efficient (takes a few hours if you are playing casually and have your pet teams lined up in the Pet Journal) and keeps the tougher battles toward the end when your leveling pet can actively help. If you start the circuit with level 15 or 16 pets, you should be able to level at least two and probably three to 25 during your daily travels. Happy Hunting!

I used two spiders to defeated Taran Zhu, in my case = Forest Spiderling and a Twilight Spider (as long as they had Brittle Webbing and Leech Life). Swapped out to the Elekk Plushie when there was a stun coming or going.

Maybe you already know it but I'd like to remind that you don't have complete the celestial tournament quest for this achievement.
It is enough to defeat the trainers which means you can always leave the scenario, heal your pet and battle again.

I finally landed on a fail-proof Blingtron 4000 strategy for this achievement. Pandaren Water Spirit/Ruby Droplet was driving me nuts, because I didn't have the right Ruby Droplet breed to prevent RNG from being a major factor. This strategy is even more tediously long, but if you stick to it you're pretty much guaranteed to win.

Blossoming Ancient - (2,2,2)
Ruby Droplet - (2,1,2), breed shouldn't matter.

Open with Blossoming Ancient
1. Sunlight
2. Photosynthesis
3. Switch to Ruby Droplet
4. Drain Blood
Your Blossoming Ancient will heal to his pre-Sunlight full in the background. Meanwhile, you've just absorbed Au's biggest hit and allowed your Ruby Droplet to heal above his normal max.
5. Absorb
6. Dive
7. (Au's big hit misses.)
8. Drain Blood

Au should be dead. Spam a few more Absorb to finish him if needed. You'll come up against Banks with both pets at full health, and Banks can't actually kill either of them as long as you use Drain Blood on cooldown and/or keep up Ironbark when you aren't refreshing Sunlight or Photosynthesis. Here it's your call. Blossoming Ancient isn't powerful enough to outdamage Banks' heals, but he can kill Lil' B on the bench via Sunlight. This takes a really, really long time, but it's impossible to lose. Your other option is to kill Banks first using Ruby Droplet. (It will take a bit longer than other strats because you didn't get some hits in with a more powerful pet first.) You'll come up against Lil' B with two pets at pretty much full health, and Blossoming Ancient is strong against mechanical. You'd have to have pretty bad luck to lose, considering most strats expect you to beat Lil' B with Ruby Droplet or a similar pet alone, but I suppose it could happen. I went with this faster method and had no issue.

I found this on the battle.net forums after all the suggestions for Chen Stormstout failed for me. Took 2 tries and this strat worked perfectly.

The strategy I propose is hardly fool-proof, but it worked for me. Can't really say RNG was much in my favor, but it does factor in!

Elekk Plushie
- Make sure you have Itchin' for a Stitchin'
Anubisath Idol
- Demolish, Stoneskin, Deflection
Legs
- Pump, Surge of Power, Whirlpool

NOTE: Legs is probably replaceable, just used him because he's Magic - resisting Brewly's Water damage and mitigating Barrel Toss. A Crocodile or a Crab should make quick work of him.

Open with Elekk Plushie and use Itchin' for a Stitchin'. It'll soak Tonsa's Headbutt; and immediately summon Anubisath Idol (it MUST be in the 2nd pet slot).

Once the Anubisath is out, it's a matter of using Demolish (Tonsa will Chew), then Deflection on the turn he charges forward. It takes 2 Demolishes to utterly destroy Tonsa, so if you get lucky, you can defeat him flawlessly.

Otherwise, if you start getting misses (or get stunned by his Headbutt), stick to Demolish on the turns he Chews, and Deflection on the one after. If you can't avoid damage, or he's about to Headbutt again (happens on round 1, 6, 11, etc) or swap the Elekk Plushie again to soak the damage and stun. If you feel confident, you can also get Stoneskin up to get ready for next pet.

Once Tonsa is out and it's Chirps turn: If Anubisath has Deflection, use it - then Stoneskin while he charges Locust Swarm. If it isn't available, and you don't have Stoneskin active either... again, switch for the Plushie for soaking goodness, eat the sleep and the swarm, then call the Anubisath again.

The key here is keeping Stoneskin up, and saving Deflection for Lullaby. I know it's tempting to use it to dodge Locust Swarm; but if you kept Stoneskin, it's easily survivable, while getting asleep will ruin your day.

It takes 3 Demolishes to kill Chirps; and unless you're really unlucky, you should be able to kill it with the Anubisath alone.

Chirps down. Brewly appears. Demolish is ineffective against him, and you'll be down to 25% hit chance... so just try to make a last stand, and save Deflection for round 4 (where he'll use Barrel Toss). Once Anubisath dies, bring Legs out - Whirlpool, then spam Pump. If two of those abilities connect, he's down. Even if you miss a lot, and your Plushie is still alive, delayed damage from Whirlpool might still get you a victory.

Chen was quite simple (but does rely on some luck) using an Unborn Valk and a Crawling Claw. Pretty much have dots rolling as much as possible while using Death Grip to keep his pets on the back lines with dots on them. Have the plushie tank big hits. Wrathion was the easiest one yet, have an Anub Idol with Stoneskin (to eat the debuff completely) and a healing pet (Crawdad ftw) as well as Deflection for the big attacks.

Since I haven't seen it noted, I just thought I would add that completing it with the battle pet of the same name that you can buy from the AH, (if someone sells it), is not possible... it must be the cuddly toy version =)

For the Awfully Big Adventure Achievement against Christoph Vonfeasel this works great. Easy pets to get and very quick.

Alpine Hare or any critter with Stampede and Flurry (Must be faster then Syd. Mine was 322.) and Iron Starlette

Speaking of the Darkmoon brothers; Many battlers, many ways.

My setup for Jeremy FEasel was deathwing + darkmoon tonk. bolt + roll + shadowflame for the rest until dead. Bring in tonk, finish off jeremy tonk, minefield the eye, then missile it dead. Monkey hops in, blasted by minefield, finish off with ion cannon.

On Christoph i used darkmoon eye + iron starlette(health variant). Eye first, eyeblast, interrupt, focused beams until eyeblast into interrupt is off cooldown. Continue until dead. Starlette in, windup, supercharge, windup. After this it's windup, pwoerball, supercharge, windup.

Bit RNG'ish, maybe, not a "cheap" team, but did the trick.

Bonus points for using their own toys? :p

Took out Sully "The Pickle" McLeary with Xu-Fu and Death adder hatchling.

Start with Xu-Fu; Prowl -> Feed.
Switch to Plushie: pass. pass.
Switch to Xu-Fu; Prowl -> Feed.
At this point socks will do the debuff, so - switch to adder.
Bunny enters; Blind -> Poison fang - > poison fang -> Puncture wound -> poison fang.
Sully brings in Rikki.
Do anything, adder is dead anyway :p
Bring in Xu-Fu (you might see where this goes); Prowl -> Feed and hope there's no dodge.
Switch to Plushie and let it die (i know!)
Xu-Fu in and we end as we started; prowl, feed, Bite to finish things off if RNG failed.

Should work, outside real unlucky crits and one dodge moment.

Taralune, lil bling 2-2-1 and clockwork gnome 2-1-1. This should be rng proof.

Start with bling. Hit inflation which gets cancelled so hit it again. Then make it rain, armor, inflation. This should cause your bling to manage to hit inflation on grace before dying. If bling does survive, prioritise make it rain before inflation.
In any case, almost done, so bring in clockwork, turret, repair, turret, railgun, railgun. You probably don't need that many steps, but just in case.

Should do it, if things go really bad, you can wait for the turret to finish the job while plushie is last alive.

On Okrut Dragonwaste, just get an Arctic hare. Pretty much solo'd the whole team, with only needing to bring out elekk for last death round. Flurry, burrow, dodge.

Start with a flurry, then burrow, then dodge. Then just keep hitting, use dodge/burrow on all "big hit" that the team brings(like frosty orby thingy).

Had a garden frog for backup, but could've easily had a leveling pet too.

Beegle blastfuse;

Leveling pet.
Chrominius. (arcane explosion, ancient blessing, surge of power.
Elekk - intchin for stitchin.

Use your leveling pet to take a hit(magic survies anything, or a higher level pet).
Bring in chromi, spam arcane explosion and use ancient blessing on half life (after you get first "dragon buff"), then keep blowing up until dinner dies.

Now if the second pet is still alive, switch to elekk. Wait for the nappy time hit, then pass, and intchin. Brings in chromi if you had it in second slot. Blessing, switch to elekk, same thing and repeat until you either hit full life(ish) on Chromi, or elekk dies.

Then finish off the second turkey with chromi and when the pengu comes out, surge of power.

If anyone needs help with any of the pet battle achievements or just making rounds for all the pet battle quests & trainers, including this achievement, this guide did me WONDERS! I am so grateful to the person out there who created it. They have multiple pet suggestions as well as all turns written out. :) I hope someone else out there finds it as useful as I did; truly a piece of cake! Defeating Taran Zhu for the achievement An Awfully Big Adventure

This was one of my harder fights in the achievement.

As far as Taran Zhu is concerned, the strategies spelled out by albinoette, Rikade, and magnusXcaboose got me the closest...

Since my H/H Jungle Grub had not been levelled and also was only POOR quality, I tried substituting
Devouring Maggots in both H/H and H/S breeds to no avail. I had already levelled the grub to 25 but had not stoned him RARE yet. By this time I had concluded that my problem was lack of speed (bludgeoning was SEVERE, but almost making it lol) and since my Jungle Grub was of the slower breed I looked for a new approach...

Alpine Foxling Kit S/B with Crouch Howl Dazzling Dance
Base Stats are H/P/S of -/+/= compared to the H/S Jungle Grub, however,
Dazzling Dance "Increases your team's speed by 25% for 9 rounds." {emphasis is mine}

...and Taran Zhu makes 44. Yippee!

I have a feeling this might not be possible anymore since 7.0 butchered a lot of battle pets, a few trainers were only feasible to dual pet with certain combos. I suspect they failed to consider this achievement during the nerfmonger's committee meeting. (a lot of bad decisions come out of groupthink)

I think what's so annoying about Okrut Dragonwaste pets is that they don't seem to use their abilities in a specified order, so it's hard to plan to counteract them.

OMG i cant belive that this team actually worked perfect for elekk plushie 2- pet team :) I have looked at sooo many pet teams and tried so many times without luck. The amethyst shale hatchling was for me just waist of time because the mechanic always heals up so it was just like a circle = i heal + damage and hes heal + damage so i maked my own team and i was totally shocked because it worked soo perfect and my Kun-Lai still had alot of life when i finished his last pet :D

This is the pets you need:

Pandaren Water Spirit - Water jet/ Dive/ Whirlpool
Kun-Lai Runt - Thrash/ Frost shock/ Deep Freeze
Your Elekk Plushie :P

Start with your Water spirit - Use Whirlpool, Dive and water jet to he is dead then comes next pet out - use whirlpool as much as you can and dive so much you can and then just water jet to your water spirit in the end dies - at this point banks will be at half health.
Bring out your Kun-Lai Runt and only use trash all the time to banks dead then when blingtron mechanic pet comes out ( Here i failed alot with so many other pets cause they couldnt stay alive) use frost shock and deep freeze then he gets stun and you get another turn ;) keep using frost shock and use deep freeze as much as you can :)
Your elekk Plushie will just stay in the background and laugh XD

Congrats. You now have to farm newer/rarer pets to get this achievement. Most of the pets suggested by people are either stupidly expensive or require an insanely low drop rate. Farming OLD content like the Pandaren Pet Battlemasters to level pets now require you to have newer pets(like Wastewalker Shu. None of the pets in the comments work except several newer pets due to stupid nerfs)

I could see meta pet teams getting the axe but jesus christ. Change for the sake of change is abysmally idiotic.

I wasn't quite sure if I'd be subbing WoW with BfA, not because I don't like the gameplay, just, you know, I'm older than I was 2, 3, 4 years ago and I have more responsibilities - work, family, life, etc. Why anyone would walk away after investing what you'll probably calculate to be thousands of dollars in a video game (that's roughly ~$2100 by the way, after 14 years and I don't buy mounts or pets, so tack an extra cool maybe $300 or more on that for people who do).

Anyway, the point of that was to explain that I came to the conclusion that I'm not going to have $2000 'go down the drain' by quitting WoW. I don't have to play the way I'm used to playing. There are PLENTY of things to do as casual vs. Mythic Dungeons or Heroic Raiding nightly or really making commitments of time, etc. to others and so I have embraced (and am attempting to embrace) the 'elses' of WoW.

I've never been a "collector". I like pet battling so yes, I have gone after the ones in dungeons and old raids but I wouldn't consider myself hardcore enough to pay lots of gold for one, etc. Same thing with mounts and all that. But as someone who is embracing all the 'elses' and little metas in WoW, I decided to go for this achievement because it comes with a pet. The pet isn't great, but it's a pet and it's something to do. I didn't really go for it before because I really don't like these kinds of achievements that have you go all over the dang place but now that it's not like I'm expected elsewhere in game (lol), I can take my own sweet time and do these kinds of things.

Suffice it to say, as someone who has been duo-ing practically every trainer on this list many times over in Legion and older (you know, for pet leveling etc.), prepare to be annoyed if you're attempting this achievement. Some of these fights are pretty rough now and guides and comments are out of date so you are somewhat on your own. From what I've gone through so far, Major Payne is back to being rough. I have a team that gets him now with 2 pets, I'll post it if I see folks having issues but yeah, I'm just letting you know that if you decide to attempt this post BfA nerfs, etc, prepare to do a bit of work. Not all of them are that much harder and the guide here has worked for probably 60% of them. My main issue with the guide is that some of the fights will last 25+ rounds (yeesh!). I've had to do my own thing for Payne and others and the good thing is that this forces me to re-adjust my teams for leveling pets again so they are current for BfA.

I'm too lazy to post a guide myself, but as I mentioned, if folks post what they're struggling on I'll post my team and plays.

Looking for a pet strategy for this, or just any battle, I can't recommend Xu-Fu's Pet Battle Strategies more. They have something for everything.

For Obalis, I used Sunreaver Microsentry (Laser, Haywire, Call Lightning) and Brightpaw (Bite, Arcane Dash, Prowl).
First pet should die from call lightning and 1 shot of haywire and the sentry should be alive while the flying pet cocoons. Then 1 shot it with arcane dash. Then prowl + bite until the last pet is dead.

You can do the Midsummer Fire Festival with this achievement, as the locations are quite near. I got a toon from 112 to 120 this way, less than a days work.

The ribbon buff does not apply to the experience gained, though.

The ongoing (just started) WoW 20th anniversary event is a perfect opportunity to get this done with hardly any travel. Many (can't confirm all) of the required Pet Battle Masters/Tamers required for this achievement seem to periodically rotate in and out at 62, 49 in Tanaris. Good time to take advantage of them coming to you for a change!
