You can find the Fel Cones around Zenn Foulhoof or even further around Starbreeze Village. Try to look around the bases of very large trees. Some coordinates to try are 58, 55 and 59, 56.

Mostly there is 1 Cone per tree... they all spawn at THE SAME spot within 1 minute (So just camp it :P)

Found the one's i need at 52.59 to get the rest go around the big tree they should be all there simple and easy road right near where you have to turn in quest.

Fel Cone's are all around the trees. You can easily complete this quest by going to Zenn and checking the base of the trees in the area. Now that quest items on the ground sparkle, this is not hard. But this isn't remotely hard to begin with :)

if you stand at 59.56 it will respawn within a very short time

They respawn in about 45 seconds so just find one and if you wait you can grab all at the one spot

Ironically, in order to redeem yourself for slaughtering animals, you must go into the forest and collect pine cones next to more dangerous animals that will force you to slaughter them again.

If you're having trouble turning this in, make sure you are Level 7 first. At level 6 I had collected the fel cones and returned to him, but he wouldn't talk to me. There was a yellow question mark on the mini-map, but not over Zenn's head. I went away and got to level 7, and then when I went back to him I was able to finish. Probably some sort of phasing issue.

Collect 3 Fel Cones.

Description

The Council of the Forest has news that you aided Zenn Foulhoof. The satyr is an enemy of the forest. As a <race>, you should know better than to defile the forest by killing Nature's creatures.

You must redeem yourself in the eyes of the Council if you wish to remain a friend of Teldrassil.

Teach Foulhoof a lesson and you shall be redeemed. Fel Cones are corrupted seeds that fall from the trees. They billow with green smoke.

Give some to Foulhoof. He'll think you have brought him a harmless snack.
