I have done this quest three times with various night elf alts and it went fine. I have tried once as a Draenei and once as a dwarf and both times I got an error message "Not a valid target" when I clicked on the charm, got the blue hand and then clicked on the body. Does this only work for night elves?

HE IS INSIDE THE CAVE with entrance at 43,57.
a)To get to him from the entrance you need to turn left on the first crossing.
Then you'll see 3 bridges, he's walking under them in the circle. Be aware of other mobs standing there, don't jump.
b)To get to him from the quest giver you should go forward and then turn right, so you'll be coming north, till you find those 3 bridges.

A simple quest, but I'm here to comment on one of its rewards: The Brushwood Blade. As a Warrior, this sword is very interesting. Extremely slow for a 1Her, I found it very awesome during the rest of my time in Teldrassil until I did my Warrior weapon quest.

But if you don't want to do that, this sword should do all right for a little bit. Just very nice heroic strikes (50+ at Level 10). And it is mounted on your back as opposed to on your waist.

Easy quest. U kill the nightelf druid then u have a thing in your bag u have to do on him. after that it is complete

Heh, you're looking for Rageclaw, who is in the center of the burrow.

Once you kill him, you have to use the Voodoo Charm on the dead body.

I must have killed Rageclaw half a dozen times and forgot to use the Voodoo Charm on the corpse!

Shame, shame, shame on me for not coming here. I have been down there three times, once for almost an hour, looking for a DEAD BODY. I've killed that shape shifter NE 6 or more times but never made the connection that this is the guy I was after. DUH, me. I'm headed back to complete it three levels higher than when I started.

To save you guys lots of time, because I was circling for about 15 minutes... the simplest path is:

Go across the bridge from the quest giver.
Take the first right.

Kill him, and use the relic.

as of 4.0.3 he is now in the locked room beside the quest giver, the door opens when you have the voodoo charm

After Cataclysm, THIS QUEST HAS CHANGED. After taking the quest, go outside and on to the platform near you (with a few bridges on it). The left of these bridges has a door at the end of it. Walk up to it and voila!

the door will still say locked when you have the quest. just walk up to the door to have it automatically open

Everyone who have previously done this quest watch out. I ran the entire place multiple time before reading quest and reading up on wowhead. Hes right across the bridge right next the the room the Rageclaw Oben Spirit (quest giver) is in.

I guess us altoholic's that think we know b/c we did many times before - need to start reading the quest.... as I now noticed it had been said a few times here.... They have changed this quest now - once you turn in the quest that gives you this one - you have to go to Oben Rageclaw - he gives you Druid of the Claw Quest - I had did it in the past where he is walking in a circle under the bridges - but now if you read the quest it tells you to approach the door to the nearby chamber - a cog will appear - open the door and there he is (with a Body Guard) Kill him - click on him and use the rune - to release - then go back to the giver of the quest and your done....

´With the addon questhubber for loremaster does these quests not show up.. so if you are a paladin or warrior and want the full Stormwind guard look, you have to search for these quests down in the cave..

As you come down to first road split walk over the bridge on the right hand side.. and you will get the quest..

The wisp will lead you back to the quest giver but if you follow the ramp in the center of the room to the closed doors they will open. Kill him, release his spirit with the quest item.

Kill the soulless body of Oben Rageclaw, and then use the Voodoo Charm.

Description

After examining this charm, <name>, I see now what must be done. Please take it, and do as I ask.

You are to approach the door to the nearby chamber. Inside, you will find my soulless body... Although I regret what I am about to tell you, I see no other way to free myself from the control of the Gnarlpine.

In order for me to escape them, you must kill my physical form. Once that is done, use the voodoo charm on my fallen body. After you have completed this task, please return to me.
