Remulos is Cenarion Circle faction.

If you're Unfriendly with 'em, you're out of luck to complete this quest. I didn't think CC would come back and bite me on the ass again, I have a habit of killing that CC ambassador in Orgrimmar every time I see him. >_<

So uh.. rep grind CC before WotLK a bit if you're in my position.

For those without coordinates, she's in the center of the camp by the rows of tents, next to Halig Fireforge, the Blacksmith. She's standing by some trees, easy to miss. And there's no '?' that will show on the map for you.

Druids, feel free to port yourself to Moonglade. It's not required to use the Archdruid to get there.

For those that may have never been to moonglade Keeper Remulos is at 36.38 , 41.98.

If you don't have coord's you should get them :) but if you open the map the Keeper is in the west in front of a big tree!

This is such a bad quest. Its AWESOME that a rep faction that HAS NOT MATTERED SINCE VANILLA WOW has an impact in Wrath. I'm really happy that i can't get a nice ring because i kill the cenarion guy in org every day. Really, great planning blizz.

I found the portal wasnt working at the start, click on another NPC then click on her. It fixed the problem for me

don't panic there is a way back at the end of the quest chain you don't need to worry about you hearth.

At the Argent Vanguard (the camp where most of you started doing quests in Icecrown) there is a group of tents for injured soldiers - if standing on the perch where the argent crusade quartermaster is, Arch Druid Lilliandra is standing to the farthest left, next to Halig Fireforge with the forge and anvil.

Since it has not been mentioned, I wanted to confirm this quest and the Emerald Nightmare quest both count toward Icecrown quests.

If you port to Moonglade and find that Remulos isn't where he's meant to be, he might be engaged by someone doing the old AQ20 scepter chain fight against Eranikus. If this is the case, you'll probably see periodic yells from Eranikus. You can wander over to Nighthaven Village to confirm this, but beware of Nightmare Phantasms that haven't been picked up by the guards.

Unfortunately, Keeper Remulos won't let you turn in the quest during the fight, which can go on for 10 minutes or more depending on how many people are participating in the kill.

On the upside, you get to see a major lore event that you might not have had the chance to see back in the vanilla WoW days. Particularly apropos given the quest chain you're currently on.

Just a heads up for you Druids who decided to be crafty like me and just teleport to Moonglade themselves; you will not get the return portal from Remulos. I had to just hearth back instead.

For those that didn't know, this quest line was a dedication to a one Brad Bridenbecker, brother to Rob Bridenbecker VP of Online Technologies. Brad had suffered from cancer and was an avid WoW player. His brother requested some memorial be set up for his brother and Chris Metzen, along with others, thought up this quest line to immortalize his battle with cancer within our beloved fantasy realm.

Hats off to you, Blizzard, Chris Metzen, and the whole Bridenbecker family. As a childhood cancer survivor myself, you have my utmost respect and loyalty to your honor and vision. You've truly epitomized the struggle of one going through the sickness, the battle, in the most accurate way possible, and bring honor to all of us who have suffered, and have watched those who have suffered, the same battle.

You go to 87,77 get portal , big tree man sends u to moonglade, u pick up acorns ... then run out of the area ... I killed one of the big trees guarding the area (63K HP but very low damage) and was instantly returned to big tree man (Remulos) ... got "the boon of remulos" and wa back in IC ... weird and easy quest

as a druid, i deliberately did not teleport just in case it messed the quest up. waste of effort. when i finished the quest he never gave me the portal back. unbelievable! had to hearthstone to dalaran and schlep all the way back

This quest is called "The Keeper's Favor" because people who KEEP this quest are FAVORED with easy transportation to Moonglade from Dalaran (!)
(Okay, okay, so it was actually named after Keeper Remulos.) Seriously though, if you don't absolutely need something from the follow-ups, keep this quest. This is useful for

working on Loremaster,
working on Timbermaw Hold reputation,
general transportation (especially alliance, who normally have to boat to Auberdine to get to the middle of Kalimdor),
or if you, like me, just like Moonglade a lot.

I've just done this quest and he said he'd open a portal back to the druid who sent me.... and nothing. Now what? Do I have to HS back? He won't talk to me any more!

Ok in the end I did just Hearthstone, but that was really annoying. Is that a bug or was I just standing in the wrong place or something? o_0

Arch Druid Lilliandra is at location 87.05, 77.00 right next to the blacksmith Halig Fireforge (on his left). No glitches or bugs for the TP either going or coming back from Moonglade. TP windows open up quickly and to the left of the NPCs.

I make it a point of doing this quest each time I level a toon, additionally I screen cap
the scene where the 3 Narru appear to take him away, I lost a family member to cancer myself. It's nice to see that no matter how they are taken no one is ever gone as long as they are remembered.

The comment about keeping the quest so you have a portal from Dalaran to Moonglade is pertinent. However the quest is very fun. Shuttling around from continent to continent. The portal from Dalaran to Stormwind is adequate. Do the quest, there's a decent ring.

PSA: this quest instructs you to take the portal from Sunreaver's Sanctuary to Orgrimmar (optional) but once in Org it'll just tell you to portal back. Ignore this. Just fly to the Argent Vanguard, the Arch Druid is by the infirmary tents where you dropped off the wounded NPC's on the drake.

Description
