The entrance to The Shaper's Terrace is at 46,8.

The Omega Rune drops from High Cultist Herenn, who is at 46,2.

Ok, i was a bit confused about this quest.
Did i have to go back so basin to find Herenn?

No! When yo find The Etymidian, continue up at the stairs, and there you will find Herenn.
Kill her and go back again, then you will get a new quest, for going back to basin again.

I have killed Herenn three times and no rune for me.

...and be careful of fearing the mobs inside the room - they walk through walls. Herenn died inside one of them and I know have to wait for the respawn

Note for rogues: The cultists are undead, and thus unsappable, but Herenn is a humanoid and you can knock him out for a bit while you slice up his little friends.

Do not be afraid to hand in this quest or any that follow in the chain. After the end of the chain you can still use the way-gate to and from sholozar

i was on the quest, killed the guy 4 times, didnt drop rune , dropped quest, went back , still no rune ?

Interesting. The cultist claims that you opened the door for them, but in the few minutes it took to get down to the Waygate, they managed to sieze the rune and set up shop.

Quick workers.

The mobs are easy, but they group up.

As of now, this appears to be broken. You used to be able to take the waygate back and forth after you had done this quest as a sort of taxi service between continents. You may not want to finish this quest.

Seems Like there was not a clear explanation I could find so here goes:

1: Pick up the Quest from The Etymidian

2: Turn to the right. Walk up the stairs. Kill the mobs.

3: Go inside there are about 5 mobs.

4: At the back of the "room" is Herenn

5: From comments I note that Herenn's respawn is under 2 mins so if he isn't there just hang tight... the other mobs respawn at a much slower rate.

6: Return to The Etymidian and turn in the quest.

***Note*** If there is an explanation and I missed it I apologize but I didn't see anything detailed so I thought I would post it in a simple list format. It took about 5 mins (or less probably) with a 79 Feral Druid.

The Activation Rune

Obtain the Omega Rune inside the Shaper's Terrace and bring it to The Etymidian.

Description

This colossal being appears to be inactive. You notice an empty rune-shaped slot on its chest.

Perhaps you might be able to find the missing rune inside the nearby overlook.
