The trick is to run into gallop to the basket near the racing rams, eat your fatigue away, then stay in ganter for the whole run. Once in a while trot to regain strength a bit. I usually had 30 seconds left before i turned in quest.

Once you are on your ram mount, simply ride to the four areas of Orgrimmar indicated on this map. As you ride by the flags at each point, your character will automatically say something and you will gain credit for the bark. No emote is necessary.

To complete this quest in a timely manner, make sure you don't ride your ram any faster than at a Canter. You'll need to slow down to a trot at one point to let your ram rest. I recommend starting at a Canter until your fatigue buff stacks to 90, then stop using the reins so you slow to a trot. Continue at a trot until your stacked buff wears down to 20-30 stacks, then speed back up to a Canter. You should finish with roughly 30 seconds to spare if you hit the bark locations in this order:

Auction House
Valley of Honor
Valley of Wisdom
Valley of Spirits

You don't need to return to the quest giver with the Brewfest Ram. I had the quest completed, but the timer was up, but I was still able to turn it in. You need to do the 4 barks before the 3 minutes, and this is easily achievable if you speed up to Canter most of the time.

Anybody else have wow crash when they start this quest and mount up? It keeps happening on one of my character's, but it works fine on the rest.

The barking objectives will not count towards the daily quest if you are in a raid.

As long as you are on Brewfest grounds when your timer runs out, you are still eligible to hand in the quest.

I've always done Brewfest on the Alliance side - first time doing it on the Horde side & I must say that it is a bit harder as the directions are a bit cloudier. Here are some tips for Horde players trying to get their first Brewmaster title on their toons:

1) For this particular quest, visit the AH's in the order it tells you to on the quest (i.e. if you go Strength, Spirit, Wisdom, Honor - it will not complete and you will have to do it again).

2) When completing the last AH (Spirit), you must go past the coords 37,75 (near the Brewfest flags IN the valley of spirit). I spent the first time basically galloping ON the Auctioneer on the top of the spiral staircase in the valley of spirit. So run PAST the AH & go to 37,75 & it will complete for the valley of spirit.

The markers seem a bit off, but no matter - the main thing is that you do NOT have to actually go to the auction house - in fact don't even look for the AH. Just ride toward the Brewfest flags set up in the general vicinity of the AH and you'll yell at the flags automatically. This is especially helpful in the Valley of Honor because you don't have to cross the bridge - the flags are on the near side.

My order of operations: No rush, just whip the ram on the verge of green/yellow. Let it get up to yellow, drop down to green, whip it back to yellow, and back again. You have plenty of time, so focus on the route, not the speed (do that by sound).

Obviously get in the main gate directly, then ride toward the main intersection of Valley of Strength, where you'll yell at the flags. Head down the right path by the AH toward the Drag. Follow the Drag around and hang a right toward the Valley of Honor. The flags are on the near end of the bridge accross from the bank, so it's a quick turn-around and back out again. Once back in the Drag, turn right toward the Valley of Wisdom (Tauren area) and cross the bridge. The flags are on the far end. Take the middle path up the hill toward the barbershop. Past the barber, take a sharp right into the tunnel to the Valley of Spirits (Troll area) and turn left. Ride down the wooden plank-way toward the Goblin Slums and you'll pass through the flags by the bar with plenty of time.

Now save yourself some headache and right-click the ram symbol at the top of your screen to dismount, and take whatever faster method of transport you have directly back to the questgiver. As far as I can tell you do NOT have to get back within the timer, as mine was marked "complete" as soon as I did the 4th yell. But turn it in directly just in case it bugs out.

BTW the rams are pretty buggy if you are in dungeon or BG finder - if you enter the instance you'll be dismounted, but if you for instance hearth back instead of "leaving group" you'll be riding your ram around wherever you hearth to. I rode mine around Hyjal for a while. It's annoying if you don't use the icon at the top of the screen to dismount.

This quest seems to be somewhat bugged in MoP (well, even buggier than it used to be). Every time I work on the quest it doesn't get updated in my quest log -- that is, each step remains at "0/1", even after I get an on-screen notification that the step was completed. After doing the last step I fly back and turn in the quest with no problems.

However, the timer eventually runs out and I get a "Quest Failed" notification and the quest is marked Failed in the quest log. If this happens, do NOT abandon the "failed" quest. If you do, one of your other active quests will be abandoned! In my case it was one of the account-wide pet battle daily quests (which I'm not even sure how to get back, heh).

If this happens, the only way I've gotten the quest log fixed is to force a loading screen (hearth, zeppelin, etc) or to log out (/reload doesn't help). I don't know if it was the addition of the pet battle quests or something else that broke it.

You do NOT have to turn in the quest before the timer runs out. After barking at all the locations, I waited around in the AH until the timer went off and the quest said failed then returned to the quest giver and was still able to turn it in.

There is no order that this has to be done in so the fastest way is to go left up the ramp, after you hit the one in the valley of strength, to the valley of spirit. Then keep heading north to the tunnel to the valley of wisdom and finally on to the valley of honor. This way you don't have to backtrack like you do when you do the valley of honor second. With this route I usually have over 1 min 30 sec left depending on how I conserved energy.

Be on the look out for asshats who think it's funny to $%^& you over with this quest. Some Casting a buff spell on your char while riding the ram WILL kick you off it, making it impossible for you to complete the quest. Also, be careful of your own action bars, as accidently clicking anything will also kick you off the ram and screw you over.

A suggestion has been submitted to the Devs that they fix this issue, but that could take forever, so yeah.

You will need to either wait out the timer, or log out and back in to fail the quest, but you take accept it again without having to abandon it.

Once your quest looks completed, which happend right after you ride by the flags required while your ram timer is up, you can just fly and go turn in the quest. You can drop the ram moount by simply right click the buff icon in the right top of ut screen.

There are two bark for quests, this one Bark for Drohn's Distillery! and Bark for T'chali's Voodoo Brewery! (on the Horde side). Are they exclusive? I've always started my alts with Bark for T'chali's Voodoo Brewery. So far, I've never seen the daily quest marker for Bark for Drohn's Distillery. Can you only do one or the other?

It seems to be buggy as of 8.2.
I've tried running around the marks that the comments of this show, and also tried running around near the markers.. No barking. I managed to get barking on Valley of Spirits, but all other locations are not working. Contacted GM

This can be pretty much done in trot speed (yellow) almost without any rest for the ram. You can leave the ram as soon as the quest is marked as completed and just fly back to the NPC. To help out maintaining speed, set a metronome to 30 BPM. You can Google "metronome 30bpm" and there are online apps or videos. Just follow the rhythm to keep the desired speed.
