The Illidari-Bane questline is a series of quests that leads to some cool anti-demon weapons. It involves entering many level-70 instances, so you probably want to do the prerequisites before then. David Wayne is also rumored to be Mograine of the Ashbringer.

After returning Additional Materials, he offers you two quests which can be completed in any order.

This is what is missing from the past expansions quest lines like this, you aren't getting a legendary you are investing time in the game for a weapon. I am currently 6/8 H Uldir and I am doing this quest because there is nothing engaging in the game currently.

Underworld Loam

Get a Vial of Underworld Loam from Hydromancer Thespia and bring it to David Wayne at Wayne's Refuge.

Description

The frame that you brought me earlier will not be sufficient to hold molten metal without reinforcement. A rare kind of earth can be used to cool and imbue the frame, giving the adamantite an unnatural strength.

Underworld loam, as the earth is known, is accorded great value among the naga. Few enough of them possess it, and in Outland, I know of only one naga who uses it -- Hydromancer Thespia, who resides in the Steamvault of Coilfang Reservoir.
