I just enslaved it, cleared the whole camp with him and dismiss him when he's at about 5% hp. Deathcoil shadow bolt and he's dead. Loot.

Soloed as a 70 resto shaman. Actually got 3 adds during the fight with the Pit Lord, which my fire elemental handily helped me dispatch. Both hit for 450ish on mai + shield, earth shield took care of most of the healing.

Soloed as a 70 warrior (fury/prot) wearing dps/stamina gear. Clear the adds nearby first. Build up a full rage bar off the last add, pop deathwish + trinkets right away and use all your rage. Pummel the casts. Use intimidating shout + bandage, and concussion blow + bandage, and last stand to get off your execute if need be.

All done as a 70 Demo Lock, solo.

First Half
Forgemaster Morug can be found at 37,28. I cleared the area to the southeast, dropped CoA and Corruption and kited him to the ecodome. One there, reapplied DoTs, feared him off, and used Drain Life. Felguard never got below 50% health the whole time.

Second Half
Silroth can be found at 41,20. I cleared the bowl that the demon sits in and used the same strategy as above. No kiting needed. Just DoTs, fear, Drain Life, repeat as necessary.

Neither elite is immune to fear, so at least for Locks, this should be easy for a 70.

easily soloable for a holy prot paladin ... sword board , judge wisdom / seal wisdom ... spam exorsism until dead ... not really any danger dying from any of the mobs the only risk comes from all the adds in the general area ... try to clear a hole in the side of the camps and pull him to a road for an easier time

Easily solo'd as a 70 afflic/destro lock. For the forgemaster I cleared a few mobs around him while keeping him DoT'd and feared and nuking him. For Silroth I kited him out next to the dome, and chainfeared, dot'd and nuked. Very easy.

Solo'd as a lvl 70 hunter. Though it would have been difficult (impossible??) prior to the Mend Pet changes in 2.1.

For the first demon, fly to the edge just NW of his position and clear (don't loot!) pats in the area. Once all pats have left his immediate area, pull him back such that you are standing on the the small out-cropping NW of this starting position, but he is being tanked by your pet far enough away to continue ranged attacks. Use Mend Pet _early_ and _often_ as he has several attack types that beat down the pet rather quickly. Otherwise, max DPS (without pulling) and your set. If you don't pull him back to this ledge, other pats (from the east and south) will eventually join in the fight making it quite difficult. I didn't try a freeze trap, but givin the fact that he can be feared, etc. You might be able to trap him mid fight for a break for healing. If freeze trapin' doesn't work, you can at least drop an Immolation trap down along the pull path for extra DPS.

For the 2nd demon, clear mobs east and NE of his position. Once clear, pull him to the small gap in NE corner of the crater he is sitting in. Have your pet tank him in the gap, while you stand downhill several yards firing. This guy is easier than the first one. Just don't forget to mend early and often.

I soloed it easily as a frost mage.
Pop Water Elemental and start kiting, easy since he's not immune to slow/Frost nova. Happy hunting!

Very easy fights, probably soloable as any class. I solo'd this as a blue geared feral druid, was a piece of cake. Flew in from the side of Forgecamp Oblivion, killed 1 cannon and 3 deamons, then just pulled Morug and ran out of the camp to avoid any adds. I have 52% DR (12k armor) and he hits me for ~450, Chainsaw for 700 and that spray thingy for 313 ticks. He's not immune to Immobilize, Cyclone or Stuns, so getting out of bear and heal is as easy as pie. Took around 1 min or something.

Silroth is even easier, if you enter from the north hes in the outskirts of the camp. Kill 3-4 deamons and pull him out of the camp and no respawns or pats will be a problem. Hit for around 300-400 and did some Flame dot for 120 per tick. He's not immune to any CC just as Murog and is very easy for any class.

70 Warlocks have this quest nice and easy.

Enslave one, fly over to the other. Just have them duke it out, if one starts winning enslave the one with greater health.

Very easy fight for a part epic geared shadow priest. Had no trouble just nuking them down.

Soloed it as a 70 resto shaman. Fire and earth elementals did the trick. It's easy if you clear the area, particularly around Forgemaster Morug - alot of patroling mobs... :)

Morug can be quite a pain to kite if you haven't got that much hp, his sawblade does about 1.3 and i only had 6k :<, was forced to use mana shield alot,
silroth on the other hand is just easy, the only special attack that he does is chemical flames wich hits for 120 and you can run out of it.

you dont need to fear untill the end. first enslave both of them and clear the whole area with him untill low hp. tell them both to stay and with a good deal of range dismiss when they get close fear then dot then Shadow Bolt them to death. this was laughably easy.

Very, very easy as a 70 BM Hunter.
Misdirect> Aimed Shot, Distracting Shot on your pet, chain mends, and go to town. Both were very simple tank and spank, and I'm pretty sure my pet never went below 80% on either fight.

Super easy as a 70 feral druid. I solo'd them in Bear mode (and wearing my tanking set). Obviously you need to clear some random npc's from the area or you'll aggro them while fighting the elite. The um... Silroth guy hit me pretty hard, towards fights end I was worried that I'd need to pop a quick heal, but didn't. He died, I flew to the next guy and wtfpwn'd him too, even more easily than the previous

Tip....clear up very fast...as they will spawn pretty rapidly....esp if you're a slow killing class (Feral drood)
Not hard to solo....but you might want to consider picking up http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10857 as well at the same time....and mind control a Mo'arg and make him tank and spank for a while until he dies....takes off about 15% of their HP

I was able to solo both (70 combat swords rogue) Morug and Silroth. Silroth was by far easier than Morug. Neither mob was immune to CC.

What I did for both was stealth in, cheap shot, SnD, once cheap shot is no longer in effect pop evasion, SS x5, kidney shot.

Blind and bandage, or use heal pots if needed. Haste equipment and trinkets will help you burn them down so fast, they may not even hit you :P

Just Solod as a prot pally. 12.8k health. half and half blues and epics. morug wasnt too hard, just keep vengeance stacked on him. silroth's fire attacks hit harder and cant be blocked so i had to lay on hands with him (no pots on hand) easy peasy though

Solo'd by a Protection Paladin, Level 69. If you have the 70% of knockback in the Holy Tree then put on Concentration Aura and make that 105%. Keep Holy Sheild up, Blessing of Sanctuary as well as Seal and Judgement of Wisdom on the bosses and you'll never have to worry about mana or interuption. Just dont ever be late with a heal and it's smooth sailing.

Soloed as a level 68 feral druid in tank gear.

Morug was a pushover. I cleared the area between him and a small "jut" in the cliff edge where one of the cannons is, then kited him over there in cat form, Berserked and used Rip and other combos until I was about halfway health, then bear tanked him the rest of the way.

Silroth is a little tougher. First of all, clear the entire camp around him (may take a while, but it's not worth the risk to leave any standing). This is important, because if you're like me, you'll have Silroth and another demon on you at one time. I used basically the same strategy as Morug, though it was a bit harder due to his fel flames AoE and such. I used one healing pot and a couple Barkskin heals to stay alive. Eventually, the combined strength of both mobs took me down at the exact time I dealt the killing blow to Silroth. Corpse run, loot, flight form, done.

I also had http://www.wowhead.com/?item=27921, which is an amazing soloing tool. It kept me alive for long enough to kill Silroth when I was on my last legs.

Solo'd both as a 68 Elemental shaman, with out 68 spells (forgot to buy). Silroth, I just used Earth Elemental to tank and with enough agro established I proceeded to kill at my leisure. I did clear the area first before engaging and checked the various pats before starting. With Morug it was a simple kite fight, as stated before he isnt immune to CC so earthbind and careful use of thunderstorm had him dead pretty easy, think I healed myself at least once.

Spymaster Thalodien at Area 52 wants you to obtain the First Half of Socrethar's Stone from Forgemaster Morug at Forge Base: Oblivion and the Second Half of Socrethar's Stone from Silroth at Forge Base: Gehenna.

Completing quests for the Scryers will cause your Aldor reputation to decrease.

Description

I don't want to send you to Voren'thal empty-handed. It's not in my style to be underwhelming.

To gain access to Socrethar's Seat in the north, we'll need to use his own teleporters - locked by Socrethar's teleportation stone. The first half of the stone is in the possession of Forgemaster Morug at Forge Base Oblivion. The second half is held by the demon Silroth at Forge Base: Gehenna.

Obtain these and Voren'thal will be impressed beyond words.
