These mobs are located in the village south of Shattrath. They have relatively low health, so they're easy kills. I picked up all 5 items in under 10 kills.

Simple quest, about 1/4 drop rate. Urdak is also found here from the Stymying the Arakkoa quest.

Be sure to talk to Private weeks at 40,36 for another quest on your way out.

They are far from dropping 1/4 for me, but they ARE dropping. Location is right.

edit: Actually rather funny. It seems the ones farther north in the camp are dropping them more often. I got 4 in a row there, but couldn't get even one to drop a little farther south. Strange...

Do this the same time as "The Outcast's Plight" from Vekax up in the tree at 52,16 in the lower city. 30 drops off the same mobs.
Repeatable, increases rep with Lower City by 250.

It seems that the mobs near the stone seen in my screenshot, have a much higher drop rate. Coords 31, 41. Happy Hunting!

Got 100% droprate from the Skithian Dreadhawks, and 0% from any other mob in the area. Might´ve been coincidence, but still.

I guess I'm just really unlucky, or they changed the drop rate. I've killed about 20 and haven't had one drop. And yes, I'm sure I'm killing the right thing.

With the listed 10% drop chance on these there is about a 12% chance that you don't get any from 20 kills, so for each 20 mobs you kill theres a 1 in 8 chance you don't see any drop.

The neck http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25928 is actually (in my opinion) better than the one you get from killing Gurok the Usurper (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9853) which is very strange since that is an elite quest plus it's higher level, you get 9 healing 3 dmg and one Int more than the Gurok quest reward, however this neck has 4 less mana / 5sec but I still deem this one better.

Took at least 10 to get the first one and at least another 10 to get the second. Then the third and fourth were the next two after that. Then another 5 for the 5th. Pretty hit or miss, go figure.

This is a really good lot of XP for not too much effort if you do all the mentioned quests at once.

The corpse run isn't short, so keep an eye out for the other faction. On my server the Allies make it difficult to quest in this area.

ok I tried finding the person they tell you to find for the quest A Personal Favor, and the cords aren't right. Anyone know where to find the person? They aren't in the tree either I looked 5 times and didn't find them there.

1. A Personal Favor
• Accept the quest, A Personal Favor, from Wind Trader Lathraiat coords 72.2, 31.0 (Eastern Lower City of Shattrath City).
• Travel south, to Veil Skith, located at 31, 42.
• Kill Skithian Windripper and Skithian Dreadhawk, then loot 5 Lathrai's Stolen Goods from their corpses.
• Travel north, to Shattrath City, at coords 72.2, 31.0.
• Turn in the quest to Wind Trader Lathrai.

This is neither here nor there, just an "What the heck?" kind of thing. I think it's typical of blizzard in these matters. I'm grouped with another account (multiboxing) and one of my characters on the "next to last kill" got 6 of the 5 boxes we needed. Of course, could not pick up the sixth. The other character had 4 of the 5 boxes. Shame the first character couldn't have looted the sixth one and given it to the second, don't you think?

And, actually, as I've posted in other threads, there is no rhyme or reason as to when blizzard allows party members to collect these things as a group or as individuals in a group. Meaning, in some quests party members get credit for collecting when any member collects. Yet other quests, each party member needs to collect their own. I think we all know what I'm talking about, at least those that group (either with friends or multiboxing. We've all encountered this. It's just odd that blizzard has no consistency in these matters.

Another complaint of mine, and this doesn't fit this quest, but I wanted to bring it up anyway, when questing for items like, "vial of blood" from a hellhound, or "feathers" from some bird or "hides" from some animal. You'd think, as every hellhound has blood, every bird has feathers, every animal has hide, so why isn't the drop rate on these items 100%?

I have great respect for blizzard's developers as developers. However, they're not the sharpest knives in the drawer when it comes to common sense. If they want us to kill 25 hellhounds to obtain 6 vials of blood, (because the drop rate is such 25% then why not simply have us kill 25 hellhounds to obtain 25 vials of blood. They get the same amount of effort from us, but it makes sense, as each hellhound has blood.

A perfect example of the lack of understanding the developers have on the world. The Outcast's Plight, we need to kill 60 arakkoa in order to get 30 Arakkoa Feather. Sadly, the developers believe each Arakkoa has ONE feather, or less, on their bodies. Why isn't the drop rate on these things greater than 100%? I mean, collect the feathers from your kills. How many birds have we seen that sports ONE feather. . . or less?

The Skithian arakkoa - primitive casters that they are - recently stole a huge shipment of my more exotic goods. I want it all back!

You can find Veil Skith just to the south of Shattrath City.
