Can anyone tell me if applying this item will cause your shoulder armor to become soulbound? Also, when it says requires a lvl 60 or higher item, does that mean it will work on Netherstalker Mantle (it's a lvl87 item according to wowhead, that can be worn by a lvl59 character)? The reason I ask is because I've seen enchants that say they can only be applied to lvl35 items used on 29 twinks and I wondered if you could make this inscription work for a 59 twink.

Inscribers can make a better version upon reaching 400 skill:
Master's Inscription of the Axe +104 AP and +15 Crit rating
but can only be used on your own armor

I think people are taking this too far. Yes, its worth it in a way, its a boost, plain and simple.

But that doesn't mean its worth killing your life over for. Only boring elitists gerks guilds will not let you in for a shoulder enchant.

Personally, I'd go for these last, when I really don't have anything else to upgrade, just because its not fun.

I feel sorry for the people that really do 22 days of boring quests for these exalted inscriptions. Sometimes I really feel like the entire wow community was dropped on their heads. TWENTY-TWO DAYS of dailies, and I bet you spend atleast half an hour a day there considering traveling time and all. That's 11 hours spent total for that rep.

Now it may just be me but on my server the Relics of Ulduar go for about 1-1,5g each and the demand is always low since you lot are all to stupid to consider other ways of getting your rep. From honored there is 12.000 rep to revered, and 21.000 rep to exalted. 33.000 rep total. That's 33.000 / 250 = 132 turn ins, for which you need a total of 1320 relics. This on a normal server (with the above explained majority of stupid people) wont cost you more than, say, maybe 1500-1800g. Make a macro to turn them in quick and you've spent less than 5 minutes getting 33k rep without ever having to rub Hodir's knob.

I know what you must be thinking. "Oh why should I pay 1500g for something I can get for free?"
No! Idiot! Imbecile! It's not free, you just filled up and entire comment section whining about how it costs you 22 days! 11 hours! Listen to what the goblins say, because time really is money.

I'll simplify it for people who dont like numbers. What do you do if you want a hamburger? Do you build a farm, breed cows, grow your own wheat, harvest, mill it, build an oven, bake your break, slaughter a cow, grind the meat etc before you finally, after months of work get the hamburger? Was it free? No ofcourse not, it's much easier to get a job at the local supermarket/Mcdonalds for a few hours a week and just buy the hamburger.

It wont take you 11 hours to grind 1500g, so why would you do 11 hours of work to get 33k rep? You need to understand that 33k rep and 1,5k gold is the same thing!

It is a possibility to buy relics, or you could just do the daily and then go slaughter npcs who drop relics to grind the rest of the honor. That way, 22 days are not spent, but a ton of gold isn't spent either. But if the relics DO go for as cheap as Ithilir's server (1 to 1.5 gold each) then buy them or however many you want.

took me 14 days to get from honerd to exalted cause i found a really good spot to grind relics of ulduar now im just selling them on the AH

I just got one of these and it DID work on Polished Spaulders of Valor.
However, the enchant requires lvl 80 to be activated! :(

With version 3.3, you will be able to mail this enchant to all of your alts, so grinding for this rep just has become that more bearable.

Looks like all Arcanums and Inscriptions are just being converted to BoA, there won't be BoA AND BoE at the vendors. I say this because on the live site it shows this still as the epic BoE but for the exact same item # it is BoA on the PTR site.

Just to confirm since as far as I could tell nobody on this page has said it, all sons of hodir shoulder glyphs can be applied to BoA shoulders even in their current BoP state. It just requires you to mail the shoulders to your main and have him purchase and apply the glyph.

-edit.... Can be applied but requires level 80 to actually activate the glyph, making the 80g I spent on it quite wasted.

Play smarter, not harder... level Inscription! Two days and I have 64 more AP. That is nearly three weeks of my time saved! Hmmm...

It's about 15-30 minutes per day on 22 different days to do all the dailies.. Of course much fewer days now that the rep gain has been increased.

Probably, somewhere, among the dailies someone have calculated the number of different visits needed to get to exalted. For now, I'll say an upper limit is twelve hours ingame time.

How long did it take you to get the money to buy all the stuff to level inscription, or did you grind it?

You are aware you gave up two extra gemsockets from blacksmithing doing it?

And three supergems from jewelcrafting?

With skinning you'd get +40 crit rating for increased dps just for skinning the mobs you killed anyway.

Planning your dailies means lots of money and lots of rep at the same time, 25 dailies all over Northrend (I did the whole if Icecrown, the Kaluak in the south, the dragons in Dragonblight, Sons of Hodir, cooking, fishing and a few more for good measure) took me about 2.5 hours and netted around 300 gold and loads of rep with several factions.

Not matter how you look at it, playing WoW and accomplishing anything worth noting takes time and effort.

Inscription of Triumph. 15 less crit rating, but better than nothing.

no one posted it yet so i thought i would, u can get 520 rep with sons of hodir by speniding one emblem of triumph, which are easy to get now from heroics and random dungeons i estiamted it to be about 64 emblems of triumph which is 10 random heroics... can be done in one day

Blizz has gone to making shoulder enchants available to all of your characters (with appropriate level requirements to prevent OP twinks)...so you only have to do the rep (or honor/stone) grind on one toon.

This applies to Sons of Hodir (req lvl 80), Wintergrasp (req lvl 80), Honor (req lvl 70), Violet Eye (req lvl 70), Aldor (req lvl 64), Scryer (req lvl 64), Argent Dawn (req lvl 55), and Zandalar Tribe (req lvl 55), enchants.

The enchants can be placed on gear worn by low levels (e.g. BoA gear), but the enchant will be red until the character reaches the required level. For the non BoA enchants (PreBC and BC), you have to have the gear in your inventory to enchant it. It can not be applied through the trade window (so enchanting your lowbie's quest reward gear is out).

People complain about the rep grind, but i only took me about 2 days to complete the quest. Roughly a total of 3 hrs. If you do the entire quest chain, you get Revered. with about 40 Emblems of triumph, you can buy 520rep/badge in Dalaran. Since theyre useless except for Crusader Orbs anyway, It make it really easy if you do this. I got 50 badges just from raiding and Dalies and stuff. Totally Easymode

I've found this to be the best way to transfer gold to my characters on other realms/cross faction.
80g at Exalted, and they sell for 25g. So you're loosing less in the end than the guild tabard.
Just saying, in case anyone is curious.
