Do not purchase this if it is marked as "Already Known". I did accidentally.. can't sell it back and you can't destroy it! It is stuck in you bag or bank. Perhaps they will let us build a library to store books we can't throw away.

Blizzard implemented this item to counter any Garrison Blueprints not being learned when upgrading from a Tier 1 Garrison to a Tier 2 Garrison, excluding the Salvage Yard Level 1 which is acquired from the quest Flame On near Pinchwhistle Gearworks in Spires of Arak.

Just in case though, we've implemented a hotfix to add a Book of Garrison Blueprints to the Garrison Blueprint Vendor for characters with a Level 2 Garrison. Characters that for whatever reason did not automatically learn the Level 1 blueprints during the upgrade into a Level 2 Garrison will be able to purchase this book to learn all the building blueprints they're supposed to have access too.

However, there's a known issue where the book isn't being consumed when learned and the item cannot be sold or destroyed at this time. We're working on another hotfix to correct this issue but wanted to get this hotfix out so affected characters can progress.

You automatically get this book as a quest reward from upgrading your garrison to tier 2. To upgrade your garrison, you must be "sufficiently progressed through Shadowmoon Valley Quests". I found that completing the main story line quests in Embaari Village and Twilight Glade gave me the quest for these blueprints. I was level 91 when I received the quest to upgrade my garrison.

Alternatively, you can purchase them after you upgrade your garrison to tier 2. However, they are not available before you upgrade your garrison.

If you had garrison tier 3 and kept Comprehensive Outpost Construction Guide + Outpost Building Assembly Notes from quests and abandoned quests, you can't do anything with what you've missed during tier 1 and 2 and everything will be grey colored. The current Book of Garrison Blueprint will keep the missing elements and everything will stay grey.

If, like me, you were losing your mind trying to figure out why a bunch of lvl 1 blueprints were unavailable for sale by Rezlak even though you have the Book of Garrison Blueprints, you can only have a limited number each of small, medium and large buildings active at one time. Once you've hit lvl 3 on a small building, for instance, you replace it with another small building, since there's only so much "space" for buildings in your garrison.

To do this, at architect table in your town hall, click on the building name in the left-hand column that you want to start building and drag it to a spot on the map to the right, one already occupied by another building of the *same size*. It will kick out the older building and you'll be able to pay the cost to start lvl 1 construction.

Be careful! If you're trying to do the level 1 Profession Building quests for nostalgia or whatever other reasons, they won't be available any more after upgrading the Garrison Hall to Level 2 or using this book. But you can still complete them. So accept any of those Level 1 quests that you want to do first!

I have an alt with a Tier 2 garrison but he doesn't know the plans to ANY buildings. I have an empty medium plot and 2 empty small plots and I can't place buildings on any of them. I just bought this book & used it, and it told me I learned the lvl 1 blueprints to all the buildings, but when I use the architect's table it still says I don't have any of the plans. I can buy lvl 2 blueprints from the vendor & learn them, but that still doesn't make any difference. Is this a bug?

**EDIT** After a couple days I checked again and the blueprints were fully known. I guess it was just a delayed effect.
