So, I've liked the shows and all the movies I've seen, but I've never cared for any of the games. Should I bother trying it out? I've got alts to feed so I can't go wasting my time on something that'll be a personal waste of time.
Trying to get my Wowhead account linked to ZAM :(
Yeah I'm kinda confused aswell. At first you're saying it is only possible if you have a premium account. Then you say that you can reset your password and login with a silent account and still get the key. I did and I didn't get anything! :(
Awesome, thanks for opportunity to try it out and seeing what it is :)
I already got one from tentonhammer.com
Just grabbed mine, thanks Wowhead and ZAM!I participated in the Champions Online beta, and was impressed - until the launch day nerf. Cryptic seems to have this habit of trashing what are otherwise great games. I'm giving them another chance with STO, but somehow I doubt that it will be enough to pull me away from WoW (even though I prefer a modern or sci-fi setting to fantasy). If you start getting keys for The Secret World of Stargate Worlds, let me know ;)
I'm giving this a shot. I've been waiting for an MMO that contained decent space combat for years. Eve... didn't. Also, I know the Star Trek lore. WoW was my first MMO because I new its lore from Warcraft III. Before that, I was never very interested in entering a universe without knowing anything about it.So far, I've no real complaints aside from how the game handles lag. Rather than have the server pick up where you are and record it when the connection is more stable (like WoW seems to do), the client gets told where the server last saw you and sends you back to that location. This makes for a jerky play experience at times which very much hinders the suspension of disbelief. That part could use some fault tolerance.I sort of want to prattle on and give a full review, but this is Wowhead, not Stohead. :)
Definately do prattle on...I just signed up and got my key - i'm on as Atreuce. Friend me!Once the 6.6gb is done downloading, I will boldly be going where few beta testers may have gone before :D
I hate to be an %^&*!@#, but this seems to be a pretty lame attempt to get people to buy premium. Tentonhammer was giving them away free when this was announced :P
Really interested to try this. Still downloading. It started really slow, but now has picked up to 1.4Mbps! Guess you have all finished...lol
Ya, I have been pondering making some kind of big spreadsheet of all the values I see as I upgrade my skills thus far in the game. Perhaps we could have a stohead.com :) heheheheThey don't seem to have ui customization yet, so everything would be following the warhammer way of being right now.It is definitely needed though, because the manual on the site is pretty brutal. Half of the day to day items you get with stats have no explanation as to what purpose they serve, because the stat doesn't take effect until you are like General or something like that. End Game levels at least. It's awesome though, and I'll be floatin around. Onyx, you should hit me up on my email, and maybe we'll put something together :P
