Pick up a musical instrument? i spent a few summers jamming out on guitar which was very fun. It's pretty easy to get hooked into a music scene which will probably eat up a lot of time and interact with real people!Me personally, i don't mind sitting on my butt playing WoW all summer because i work it off the other 9 months of the year at design school.Edit: changed words
(I'm in HS) I teach sailing at a summer camp from 8-5 weekdays almost the entire summer, with one or two free weeks and take one weeklong backpacking trip with my dad. These activities are fun, earn me money, and are great college essay fodder. The rest of the time, I practice the two instruments I play and play WoW. I play a lot more than I do during school (I avoid it entirely during the week) but not all day. I've done it before; it's physically painful :P
I'm not sure how athletically inclined you are, but I'm a runner. I run in college, and it's a great hobby of mine to go out in the summer and do road races, whether I'm racing or helping organize. In addition, bar-b-ques, pool parties, and riding my motorcycle are all things I love to do. I'm also a personal trainer, so I have a good job during the summer.Bike nights out here in PA have easily 200 bikes on a really bad night, closer to 1000 on a good night. You really can't beat 100 bikes cruising down the highway in a pack for fun factor. At the same time, I am an English major, Russian minor, studying to get my teacher's certificate. As a result, I am subjected to so many boring walls of text that having the chance to sit down in front of a computer screen with something colorful on it is actually quite fun. I don't know where you live, but I find it a blast to pick a nice day and sit outside in the shade somewhere, on the porch or deck or something, and play WoW for the day--outside. As cheesy and weird as it may sound, being in the Grizzly Hills or Nagrand or STV while sitting outside feeling the breeze and listening to the birds chirp and sing is actually a really cool experience. That's what I do...hope I gave you some legit ideas!
Haha I normally hang out with friends and then, during downtime, hop on WoW. It's really easy to find downtime where I live because it's WAY too hot to go outside half of the time haha.
I go out to eat, or do stuff with family, other then that i go on WoW 24/7.
This summer I'm finishing up my A.A. with one more class.Other than that, I'm working. So I don't just play WoW.
I'm gonna do some productive stuff this Summer Break.I'm gonna work with for my dad a bit...and learn to drive. And of course I'll also enjoy myself...either by camping or playing WoW...=D
I loved the pic!Ah those were the days.Five years ago nobody cared about pc's, maybe some cs (not for me) or sims 1.I live near the sea so my friends and I had the greatest time at the beach all day.And some sims. That's what I would do today. But teen days are gone and I have to work all day.
More WoW.I didn't get to play much last year.
I usually take a trip to my aunt for a few weeks (she has no internet and only 2 TV channels, GAWD how painful with weeks without internet). After that I normally sit at home from I get up and till I go to bed (sometimes I eat a little too). I usually spend about 3 days in total bathing with friends at the nearby umm... what do you call it? A place with pools and slides and stuff, outside.I also spend some time watching movies and TV, I go to 1-2 cinema-movies, and that's about it.
I feel like a Peon... Work, work, WoW...
I'm planning on hanging out with friends this summer. We've got this great new D&D campaign going.
I am taking a French language course 3 days a week in June/July. I like to learn something useful. I am also translating a book for parents of kids with cancer into Russian. Other than that, I am going to hang out with my boyfriend, go on vacation somewhere together, maybe raid a couple days a week, dedicate time to my grandpa who is sick.
